Weight Loss and Dieting with Anaerobic Exercises

Most people today realize that if they want to lose weight they have to exercise. Most diet plans mention and briefly tell people that they need to exercise but only give a little bit of information about the subject. There are a multitude of books written about exercise and you can pick one of these up and explore the various disciplines within the exercise world. I want to explain how critical certain types of exercises are to your weight loss program.
Their always has been the a bit of misinformation as to which is better for you. The difference between aerobic exercises which means with oxygen, and anaerobic which means without oxygen, is simply the anaerobic exercises are for a short and focused duration. Anaerobic exercises uses energy sources that are stored in the muscles and is not dependent on oxygen. Weight lifting, sprints of all types, interval training, jumping rope and all exercises that use a quick burst of activity.
Overall anaerobic exercises burns fewer calories but will increase the muscle mass and strength of the muscles. Some of the other benefits of anaerobic exercises besides building muscles is it will increase strength and eventually aid in burning fat.

So initially you would assume that if you would stick to aerobic exercises you would burn fat quicker. This is true but by doing both types of exercises in your diet plan you will increase both strength and flexibility and increase the amount of fat your body burns. By increasing the muscle mass and then by working that mass your body will burn more fat than by doing only one of these types of exercises.

Another big benefit of doing this type of exercises is it increase the bodies ability to remove waste material from the body and prevent fatigue. The buildup of lactic acid is what causes muscle fatigue and research has shown that by doing anaerobic training you can increase the muscles ability to remove waste by 12% to 50%. This is why if you are lifting or sprinting your muscles feel fatigued after just a short workout until you are able to build up the muscles and it's waste removal.

You can lose weight by doing anaerobic exercises but with aerobic exercises which is part of a total weight loss plan you can maximize your weight loss quickly and safely. It does take a commitment on your part but if you are doing both types of energy and creating a huge calorie gap your diet and what you eat will not be as critical. If you are working out daily and increasing your calorie deficit a cookie her or their will not set you back as much. You will also notice a healthier and more active person and the foods that you need to stay away from will not be as hard to pass on as before.

Plan to incorporate both types of exercises in your weight loss program and you will be amazed at how fast you burn the fat and lose weight on your diet. You will be able to fit in clothes that you dream about getting into. Once you establish the habit you will be amazed at how easy it becomes to lose weight.
